The HER Network Case Competition: Public and Global Health in Action

HER Case Competition: Public and Global Health in Action is an interactive case competition designed to equip students and early-career professionals with the skills, tools, and real-world experience needed to tackle complex challenges in public and global health.

Working through a real-world case study developed in collaboration with a partner organization, participants will explore a pressing public or global health challenge, critically analyze the issue, and develop innovative, evidence-informed solutions. Through a combination of expert insights, hands-on teamwork, and guided reflection, participants will strengthen their problem-solving, critical thinking, and strategic planning skills while learning how public and global health challenges are addressed in practice.

The HER Case Competition will begin with a short introductory lecture to provide participants with relevant background knowledge and frameworks. Attendees will then work in teams to analyze the case study, identify key challenges and considerations, and develop and present their proposed solutions.
